Last Summer Mani/Pedi with Essie's Chastity and Making Your Polish Last at the Beach
Ahh . . . the end of summer. There are never enough beach days.
Here is Essie's Chastity to take me into Labor Day.
I'd like to share with you one trick I have learned for making sure your nail polish lasts through sandy days at the beach.
Before stepping on the sand, take some body lotion and massage it into your finger and toe nails. This will give your nail polish a bit of a buffer against the sand.

Sur la table Goodies
Sur la table opened up a new store near me and much to my delight, a lovely summer sale was going on.
First up, nautical style servers purchased for $2.99 for the set!!
For those of you who have read The Single Nester for a while, it will come as no surprise to you that I LOVE the color TURQUOISE!
So, when I spotted this Bar Board and Kuhn Rikon knife in turquoise (and on sale), I just had to get them.
The Bar Board was $3.99 and the knife, $6.99.
What kitchen goodies have you purchased lately?

iPad 3 Input Needed
I have finally decided to get an iPad. Am I the only one who doesn't have one yet?
Anywho, I am not sure whether to get the 16GB or the 32GB.
Can any of you make a recommendation?
I plan on taking photos with it, browsing the Internet, maybe a movie or two or some music and definitely some apps.
What do you think?

Stuffed Zucchini with Tomatoes and Mozzarella
While reading the blog 33 Shades of Green, which I highly recommend, I came across a recipe for Stuffed Zucchini.
It looked delicious so I just had to make it. I made some adjustments to Alissa's recipe.
Here are the ingredients I used:
* 6 medium size zucchini
* 2 tomatoes
* 1/2 a red pepper
* dash or two (or three) of Italian seasoning
* some breadcrumbs
* some extra virgin olive oil
* mozzarella
Cut each zucchini in half and scoop out the seeds and reserve.
Dice the tomatos, pepper and reserved zucchini insides. Mix all ingredients.
Place zucchinis on an oiled baking sheet. Stuff. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
Remove from oven. Turn the oven to broil. Sprinkle each zucchini half with some more mozzarella and broil for a few minutes. Keep an eye on them.
Here is the deliciousness you will get.
In the future, I would add some salt and crushed garlic.
So easy. So healthy. So delicious. I cannot wait to make them again!
Thank you Alissa from 33 Shades of Green.

I Installed a Linksys Wireless Router All By Myself!
Okay. It is the little things that make me happy.
After my Netgear router died after three years, I needed a new one.
I was not going with Netgear again that is for sure. So after lots of research, I chose a Linksys. And rather than call Staples for a home visit as I did three years ago, I installed it myself.
Yeah for me!! I saved myself $100! Time for a new pair of shoes . . .
What have you done all on your own that you are proud of?
