Last Christmas, I blogged here about using Orange Glo wood floor polish to glitter ornaments.
Well, lo and behold, it has been pinned on Pinterest like crazy!
So, I thought I would revisit the project and glitter some more.
My colors this Christmas are turquoise, silver and white (more about this in another post), so I used all of the different shades of these colors that I have.
Here is what you need:
Spray about 4-6 squirts of Orange Glo into your ornament. Better to have too much than too little.
Hold a paper towel over the opening and shake shake shake.
Then, turn the ornament over on a paper towel to drain (when done, you can use what is on the paper towel to polish some floors - no waste here!).
Do not allow to dry. Next, pore some Martha Stewart glitter into the ornament and with another paper towel over the opening, shake again until the inside surface of the ornament is fully covered.
Tap out the excess into the jar of glitter.
Here are the fan-tabulous ornaments and the colors of glitter I used.
And, on my white, turquoise and silver tree.
The six ornaments were originally $4.99 at Michaels but I purchased them on sale for 50% off making each ornament about 42 cents to make!
I just love them and will be making many this Christmas as gifts.
What are you crafting up this Christmas?

Those are gorgeous! So, do they STAY glittered or does the glittering drop away after a while? They are fabulous- xo Diana

Hi I found you through Thirsty Thursday . Who thinks up these things like using Orange Glow?!
I really love the way these turned out! But do they stay that way? It doesn't all slide to the bottom? This happened to me with paint.
Those are fabulous! Thanks for sharing. Will be filing this away.
