I may have mentioned how this season above the other three is my favorite.
I will tolerate the mosquitoes (I have been bitten at least 100 times this year) one more time and do some fall planting.
Since I had great success with my first container plants which you can read about here, I have decided to try and plant some directly in the ground! What a concept.
I purchased some ornamental cabbage and mums and ornamental grass which I am so excited about.

That ornamental cabbage is my favorite, I had some last year and planted it hoping for it to come back, but it looks very sad!

I just love Mums. They remind me of my vacations in Boston. I am sure that all of your fall planting will turn out beautiful.
this year i'm totally planting the kale/cabbagey things. and pansies. i need something in the colder months!
