Turquoise Tablescape Perfect for Summer

For those of you who have read my blog for a while know that my favorite color is turquoise. I have so much turquoise items, it will soon require a 12-step program.

Here is a simple, cheap and colorful tablescape I created that cost less than $15.00 in total.Various turquoise glass items were found at The Christmas Tree Shops for anywhere from 89 cents to $1.99 each.

The seashell votive holder was $1.99 at The Yankee Candle Store and the two shell/sand votives are from Michaels for $1.00 each.

Hydrangeas - free, planted by mom and dad over 40 years ago.

Turquoise, how I love you.

I'm a blue lover anyway and the turquoise glass is right up my alley. It reminds me of sandy beaches, and blue skies. Do I detect what looks like a turquoise damask fabric on a chair? Gorgeous hydrangea, I love to dry them.

Nice display!

The colors are reminding me of summer in San Diego. Especially when we would go to the lake or beach.

Gorgeous. Your tablescape whispers summer... Love it.

I now forage for hydrangeas because of your post, which is essentially, stealing, right??? lol...

I featured you today at my site.

Thanks for sharing at last week's Creative Juice,

Gorgeous! I did a similar thing for my daughters mermaid party last year and called it "blue bottles in the bathroom" (they're stinging jellyfish in Australia so it was a kind-of joke here!) You can see the picture if you scroll to the bottom:

WOW! I came here from the linky party because of the gorgeous blues - because this hot, hot summer needs some cooling blues like yours... And I discovered that I've got the same blue little vases :) Funny how this "Global Village" works! I just got mine about 3 weeks ago from the local supermarket (you can see one here: http://meehameeha.blogspot.com/2012/07/summer-picnic-on-floor.html)
