Confessions of a Travel Size Addict

Hello. My name is The Single Nester and I am a travel size addict.

Yup. That's me.

I love all of those tiny bottles of lovliness.

As someone who travels for work and loves to travel for pleasure, I have collected quite the collection over the years.

From this Bliss kit on a British Airways flight to London . . .to all sorts of shampoo bottles . . .and mouthwash . . .and my favorite sewing kit from a Hilton property . . .I have collected it all so that this is what my collection looks like.It was time for an intervention.

I began by sorting everything into like piles.Then, I corralled each like category into a ziploc bag and labeled them.I then stored them in a three-drawer (yes, three-drawer!) unit.What a life-changer (it's the small things people).

Now, I can easily refill my toiletry kit and purchase whatever I am low on.

After each trip, I go through a toiletry checklist that I created (if you would like a copy, email me) and refill the kit so that when I need to travel again, it is all right there. What a time saver!!If something is missing when I restock the kit, I leave a note inside the toiletry bag so I know that I need to purchase that item for my next trip.

I admit that I bring entirely too much in my toiletry kit (does one really need a face scrub and a face wash?) but I like to have choices.

I never carry on my toiletry kit. TSA would throw a fit.
