My favorite Easter memory...I remember being in the 3rd grade and my mom making my sister and me Easter dresses. Back then they were A-line. Hers was a bluish green linen and mine was a paler shade in more of a blue. We had these bushes in our front yard that had white clusters on them in the spring and we each cut a strip and bobby pinned them across our heads. Mom bought us new Easter shoes and cute little white socks so that when we went to church on Easter Sunday we would be all dressed up! Sigh...we thought we were the "cats meow"! LOL

Gorgeous scarf and congratulations on 700 followers. I can't imagine 700! I have somewhere around 97 or so. Thanks Carnie for the opportunity to be included in your giveaway!

Wow 700 followers!!

My favorite Easter memory has to be getting a AMAZING dollhouse from the easter bunny for my sister and I to share. It was really from my grandmother's house, and we always wanted to play with it but were never allowed--until that Easter. We also got matching little mermaid shirts that year. :)

Favorite Easter memory? Family gatherings at my grandparents farm near Alva,Okla. Everyone came to mom and pop's . Home made hot cross buns straight from the oven. All the cousins gathered around the kids table eagerly awaiting the Easter egg hunt. The hiding places were numerous. I doubt if we ever found them all. I always loved the farm in the spring with lilacs and irises blooming. Years have passed and the families don't get together but the memories live on brought back by the scent of a lilac bush.
