Weight Watchers Slow Cooker Lentil Soup

I love lentils and I love my slow cooker.

Here is a recipe that I made using both.Easy peasey and whoa, the fiber! Drink plenty of water.

I omitted the Canadian bacon. I didn't really feel the recipe needed it. Maybe next time, I will include a can of diced tomatoes.

Carmie,

This recipe looks so good! I love lentils. I remember making lentil soup once and the soup had a purple look to it? I never figured out why that happened. It was really delicious but purple looking? LOL

Stop by and enter my giveaway for a Laudree's French recipe book! (Sigh...no desserts though)

That looks really good, Carmie! If I use a gluten free chicken broth, I would be able to have this!

Love using my crock pot. What a simple and delicious looking soup.
Do you know how many points plus per serving on WW?

I love lentils! Am going to the supermarket tomorrow and buying a couple of pounds of lentils, do you think this soup freezes well?
