But, I recently read a blog where the blogger used wood floor polish!
Forgive me because I do not remember which blog I got the idea from. If anyone knows, please contact me and I will definitely give credit.
Wood floor polish? Really? But, it works!
Spray about 4 squirts into the inside of the ornament. Hold a paper towel over the opening and shake shake shake until the ornament is covered. I then turned the ornament over to let the excess drip out.
Then I poured some Martha Stewart glitter in the inside, covered the opening with a paper towel and again, shake shake shake, pouring the excess back into the glitter jar. Waste no glitter :)
Here are the results.
I also had two clear ornament bells and did the same thing.
What's your favorite Christmas craft?

I'm definitely trying my hand at this one!
Those look great, Carmie! Never would have thought of floor polish in a million years!
That is very pretty and a very good idea and it's easy to make. ^_^

Carmie,
You have outdone yourself! Your ornaments are gorgeous. Why you could sell them!!
Who would have thought in a million years to use wood floor polish? NOT ME! Yesterday, I purchased some styrofoam balls...ornament size and read where if you apply craft glue all around the ball and then pressed lavender buds onto them and attached a string you would have lavender "kissing" balls. But sadly...sigh...it did not work! I can't figure out why? The styrofoam was sticky with the glue but the buds would not stick...UGH! Thoughts on why this might not have worked?
love the results so very pretty
What an awesome idea!! I would never have considered that. It makes sense though. Most furniture and wood polishes contain silicone to give the wood more shine. The glitter would certainly stick to that silicone as it dries. :) Brilliant!
Gorgeous!
What? This is crazy cool, I love it! Posting to my fb right now :)
Merry Christmas thank you for linking up!

I love those!!
My problem?? I've searched all over and can't find these clear ornaments... where did you find yours??
Cool! The glitter stays INSIDE and won't get all over everything and rub off. Genius.
I popped over from Beach Cottage Christmas Party
So don't polish the floor with this stuff and then spill glitter :)
WOW what a cool idea! The results are so pretty and impressive!
Wow! I love this idea!!! Thank you so much for sharing it.
And Kate's comment cracked me up! Sounds like a disaster that would happen to me!
Take care,
Christina

Jodie, you can use colored ones, just put a little bleach inside and shake it around then pour out the bleach, now you have clear balls, just saying even buy ugly ones and make pretty ones haha
Found your Christmas ornament on pinterest and I love them! ....I'm you're newest follower. :)
