Mercury Glass Madness

I love mercury glass. Timeless and sexy.

While on a recent jaunt through Home Goods and Crate and Barrel, I was overcome with all of the bling.

Here are some photos.Do you decorate with mercury glass? How so?

I've never heard it called mercury glass before, actually I don't think I've ever known it had a name! It is very pretty in a bling kinda way!

All those decorations look great, is that a tiny sock monkey I see, not very festive but so cute!

Shopping heaven! Love the little square Christmas tree plates in the first pic! I actually just picked up a big red mercury glass candle holder for the center of the kitchen table, looking forward to making a candle ring with live greens for it:@)

Ooo, so very shiny ;) Love those little owls! I decorate with glass quite often, but I find it especially beautiful during the holiday season :)

I love mercury glass and I am so happy to see it become popular again. I have a pretty nice collection, but I love to add to it! I will check out HG and Crate and Barrel!

I love mercury glass. I have some gorgeous crackled mercury glass ornaments in the most beautiful shade of blue and silver. I also love the mercury glass votive cups. Maybe that is why I love silver tinsel...shiny and sparkly

I don't know what mercury glass is! Better check with google.

Lovely pictures - very festive.

I've had the idea before to take pictures of things I want to buy but don't need... sometimes having a keepsake is probably enough!

Some of those colors are calling out to me, Carmie! I gained a Hobby Lobby but lost a Home Goods in this move! : ) Did you ever find those mercury glass pieces you were looking for a few posts ago?
