Halloween Scarecrows

With sixty degree weather and sunny skies, I went for a much-needed walk to a hidden gem near my home.

My goal was to clear my head and experience God's beauty during my favorite season.

I went to see the most amazing dahlia show (more on that another time) but found these fun scarecrows while meandering through the various pathways.

I must make a point of visiting this place more often.

What do you do when you just need to clear your head?

Oh how fun are those! They would make fantastic company on a walk, nothing beats a nice walk to clear away the cobwebs!

i LOVE these! such great ideas! If only it didn't rain here so much, I'd totally do that. I had a friend that found a pair of men's size 60pants, so she stuffed them and made a giant pumpkin-head man for a scarecrow. he was l-a-r-g-e. Thanks for the ideas

Now, what do I do to clear my head.... Humm, I love to turn everything off and have complete silence and in the stillness I find peace and can clear my head!

How neat! I love the Wizard of Oz scarecrows.
To clear my head, I go for a long drive in my car with the music up loud. I've got a well-worn path I love to drive when I'm feeling stressed.

Carmie,

I don't know how you would clean those canopies. I've never had one. I had a friend who had one when I was in high school and I think her mom removed it and washed it. I like the flowing fabric but don't know if I would ever want one.

I'm like you, just something else to collect dust...Pretty though.

When I need to relax, I listen to Coldplay :) Then again, I'm always listing to Coldplay, so...lol.
