Cookbook Review - Mango Smoothie

Yes, summer is coming to a quick end and in my humble opinion, fall, my favorite season, never lasts long enough.

But I digress.

Picking up with my Cookbook Challenge where I humbly attempt to make a recipe from my vast collection of cookbooks and blog about it every Wednesday, I decided to make a beverage - a smoothie to be exact.

While on one of my many forays to Border's during their "Going out of Business" sale, I picked up the following book for $1.99 - Cool Smoothies - Fast, Fun, Frozen Treats.I love mangoes so I chose this recipe - Monkey Mango Smoothie.Ingredients:Finished product:Easy to make and very frothy, it was just okay. Maybe it needed some alcohol or something :)

But, I look forward to making other concoctions from this book.

Hey Carmie!
Oh yes, some rum would definitely liven it up! Sounds like a good recipe though...and you can't beat the price for that book! I got a couple good deals at the Borders sale. Thanks for stopping by and checking out my reviews!
