See that black dot called New York in that lovely shade of purple?
That's me.
Supposedly this is going to be a whopper like we haven't seen in a generation.
I am worried because I live on the coast only a mile from the ocean plus I have huge trees on my property.
And, a freezer full of ice cream that I am just going to have to eat before Saturday afternoon!

Keep safe! My son and DIL are in the same "shade" as you but further northeast--Massachusetts/New Bedford/Providence area. I've just been reading about the hurricane in 1938 that devastated the area. Hope Irene heads out to sea soon.

Stay safe! My entire family lives in Carteret County, North Carolina where she's making landfall, according to the latest reports. Its times like this I'm glad we've made the move the heartland. Hoping and praying everyone stays safe back east!

I know I already said it in my email, but stay safe, stay inside. You've got your ice cream, I've got my chocolate! I hope we don't lose power ~ I've got Dexter Season 5 on DVD! I cancelled my yard sale. Oh well, Vietnam Vets will have an extra large pick up come Tuesday!
Shouldn't you be out of there to somewhere safe? Be careful. Don't do anything you will be sorry for later. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you on the coast in the way of the storm. Keep in touch so we don't worry about you ok.
