So, I was thrilled when several months ago, while watching The Nate Berkus Show, the following product from IKEA was featured.
It was used as a scarf organizer.
As someone who has a lot of scarves, I thought this would be perfect to hang my collection. After a few trips to my local IKEA waiting for it to be in stock, I finally purchased it. I believe it was an incredible bargain at $7.99.Here is the result (sorry for the sub par photos.)
These are my spring, summer scarves. Fall and winter are stored in a canvas container.
Made of a rope-like macrame, it is surprisingly quite sturdy considering the number of scarves I have hanging from it.I have it hanging from another hanger since it became quite heavy.
Are you a scarf lover and if so, how do you store your scarves?

Great solution! I usually have a scarf tied to the handle of my purse - makes it easier to spot when I toss it in the backseat to drive or even around the house.

What a neat organizer! I have lots of scarves but no Ikea store within 100 miles of my home! I bet some smart, savvy, lady will come up with an idea to make one. I hope they post the instructions when they do. :) I wish I was more creative, but I'm only a copy cat.

I also love scarfs, but hate dealing with the hanging of them! Currently I just drape them over a hanger but they're constantly falling...I may have to check this out - thanks for the inspiration!

That IS great! Someone mentioned waiting for some crafty lady to come up with a way to make one. I'll bet some crafty lady will think of another clever way to use it! I don't use scarves much, but it just looks like something that could be used for........???????!
