I wanted to give them a handmade engagement gift.
Similar to my butterfly Christmas gifts for my nieces which you can read about here, I came up with a heart one for these two lovebirds.
Using an IKEA Ribba frame (don't you just love those frames!), I used the following supplies:

So precious and resourceful. I love making homemade picture frame gifts for friends getting married or having babies. I like to use scrapbook embellishments to decorate the mat.
