First Tomatoes of the Season

No more tasteless grocery store tomatoes.

Doesn't feel like summer until my dad's tomatoes start turning red.From this ...To this . . .

Wow! That's a lot of tomato plants! Does your dad grow different kinds? Did he grown the sunflowers that are in your header? I love the progression that you depicted in the life of a sunflower.

"Real" tomatoes are a whole different food than what you buy at the grocery store, aren't they? We're eating fresh tomatoes like there's no tomorrow here, because they won't be around for long! (Peaches too!)
