While hurting for some crafty things to blog about, I thought I'd share the joy of recycling fake flowers - again and again.
Last year, I blogged about spring garlands that I had on hand for years.

I turned these garlands into last year's spring wreath.

For this spring's door decoration, I didn't want to hang the same wreath. So I disassembled it (ripped the flowers off the form) and saved them which is so unlike me. If not for the constant inspiration of fellow bloggers, I would've thrown them out.
I turned this spring garland-turned wreath into a palm cross for my mom.

Thrifty and pretty if I do say so myself.

I love it, both the wreath and the cross! :)
That turned out so pretty, Carmie! I find that I'm saving things I might not have saved pre-blogging, too.
So pretty! I've never seen palms made into a cross like that one - love it!
