Hand Made Palm Crosses

Last year, I blogged about making a Palm Cross for my mom. I wrote about how I do not like the prepared ones but like to add my personal touch to them.

This year, I had to make two - one for my mom and one for my brother.

Totally sucks but I like the fact that these are handmade by me with lots of love.

Here they are fresh from the supermarket. This is the one I made for my mom. Here is my brother's.Do you place palm crosses near the graves of your loved ones?

"But from this earth, this grave, this dust,
My God shall raise me up, I trust."

Carmie, these crosses are so beautiful, sad but beautiful.
I'm the "flowers" trusty at the cemetary where my Mother and Daddy is laid to rest,I always change out the silks for every season, now it's time for Easter, and I think these crosses would be perfect, thanks for the idea.
Hey friend,on a lighter note, come over to LazyonLoblolly and see what me and the Mr made.

And I've been a follower for some time was wondering if you would follow, and add to my friends list.

So beautiful! I don't think any of the florists sell the crosses here. I will be looking....Thank you for the inspiration. Your Bible verse at the end of the post says it all!

Carmie these are beautiful and I can only imagine how much love and emotion you must have put into them and I know that they are loving them. I have never seen these around here before but I would definitely put them on my loved ones graves.

Many hugs to you.

Those are beautiful crosses. I decorate a LOT at Easter, both at home and at the cemetery where one of my babies is buried.

Because He rose, WE will rise. Easter is my favorite, favorite, holiday. :)

This reminds me of the Philippines during easter time. They make palm leaves like these and adorn them with beautiful flowers and laces. Great job! Thank you for sharing this at the Creative Bloggers' Party & Hop :)

I saw your post from Paisley Passions. The crosses caught my eye. They are beautiful and they show how much you love your mother and your brother.

And to answer your question, here in the Philippines, we put flowers on the graves of our loved ones whenever we visit them.

Those are gorgeous. I always have the simple Palm Sunday cross that sits around for about 6 months stuck in a mirror around my house. Yours would be far more lovely to display somewhere!
