Nutcracker Gold Tablescape

I love this gold tablescape.

It makes me feel glitzy!
Not sure which I like better. With or without the gold leaves purchased from Michaels for $2.50 each. What do you think?
Nutcracker - $5.99 at Joanns from this year
Twine Tree - handmade
Glitzy Tree - 50cents at Dollar Tree
Candlesticks - purchased years ago at Bath & Body Works
Candles - The Christmas Tree Shops
Garland - Ikea
Ornaments - Ikea
Tray - Pier 1 ?
Butterflies - Pier 1
Broken Ornament - priceless!

"I once bought my kids a set of batteries for Christmas
with a note on it saying
toys not included."

I like it both ways! I guess one is more 'fancy' than the other? So, depends on what you're going for. But, seriously, both ways = beautiful!

I love nutcrackers too - this is a great way to include a sweet nutcracker along with some other pretty things. Looks so nice!

I agree. Bourdain is just awesome, he seems like such a great person to hang out with and he's not afraid to say whats on his mind.

Hi Carmie!

I love the theme of your gold vignette and I think the leaves should stay! It DOES look very glitzy! I like your handmade tree, too, it fits right in...I think I may try something like this if you don't mind. I love jute! :-)

Thanks so much for stopping by. It gave me a chance to see your blog and I love it. Happy holidays!

I like them both but if I had to choose one, I'd say without the leaves. I think the twine Christmas tree looks nice with the more glitzy one.

The whole thing looks great!
