I like it both ways! I guess one is more 'fancy' than the other? So, depends on what you're going for. But, seriously, both ways = beautiful!
i like it both ways also. I really like that nutcracker though, so cute!
I love nutcrackers too - this is a great way to include a sweet nutcracker along with some other pretty things. Looks so nice!
OK I've gone back and forth trying to decide and I can't! I like it both ways. I'm no help!
I agree. Bourdain is just awesome, he seems like such a great person to hang out with and he's not afraid to say whats on his mind.
Darling centerpiece display! The nutcracker is so cute and I love the gold and white together!
Happy Holiday's!
Sherri:)
Stunning!! I love your gold nutcracker and all the elements you've pulled together for this display :)

Hi Carmie!
I love the theme of your gold vignette and I think the leaves should stay! It DOES look very glitzy! I like your handmade tree, too, it fits right in...I think I may try something like this if you don't mind. I love jute! :-)
Thanks so much for stopping by. It gave me a chance to see your blog and I love it. Happy holidays!
XO,
Jane

I like them both but if I had to choose one, I'd say without the leaves. I think the twine Christmas tree looks nice with the more glitzy one.
The whole thing looks great!
Beautiful, both ways! Merry Christmas
Simple and lovely!
What a beautiful tablescape you have made. I loved all the gold. Have a Merry Christmas.
Love this Carmie!! He is just beautiful and I love how you surrounded him in golden goodness!!
