The set was my mom's and is from Avon. I do have the rest of Joseph's staff. Maybe I should get around to gluing it back on.
The house (inn) and the bottle brush trees are from the Martha Stewart collection at Grandin Road.
I purchased them last season for 75% off!! The trees were in a set of three as were the houses. They were dirt-cheap people!Epsom salt provides for a snowy scene.
Where is baby Jesus you may ask?
It is a tradition in my family to not put out baby Jesus until midnight because he isn't "born" yet.

I thought you were going to say you lost Baby Jesus! I have a cute little set from Avon...it is Precious Moments set... it is more for a child..but I love it... I have had it for about 8 years... but I can't find Baby Jesus... so sad!
These are very sweet. I like it when people put in the effort for Christmas!

We do the same thing at our house.
What a gorgeous scene you put together and a wonderful tradition to pass down.
What a sweet tradition. Thanks for sharing.

That is the cutest tradition ever!! I would have never thought of that.
Martha Stewart collection? I had no idea!! I so have to check it out!
What a sweet nativity scene...my family has the same tradition. Baby Jesus is placed Christmas eve and not a day before. Best, Cat
