My Favorite Makeup Products Right Now

I received so many thoughtful comments and emails about my Makeup Organization post.

The crazy thing is that I was slightly jealous of those of you who wrote how your makeup can fit in a small case. Sometimes, the array of makeup I have is too much. Too many choices. But, I am glad that I have choices.

Here are some of my favorites from what I have shown you.
I use the Smashbox primer which is so silky smooth followed by BareEscentuals Tinted Mineral Veil and Faux Tan as my bronzer.

Next up, cheeks.
I love this Laura Geller blush. And Glee from BareEscentuals, purchased before the show ever existed but fun to have now that I am a fan :) They are both nice and pink and a little goes a long way. The Bonne Bell product for lashes is used as an eyebrow shaper.

Let's talk eyes -
I love the smoky gray/purple of Black Pearl, the shimmery silver of 2000 and a simple base in Soul. The MAC Paint Pot in Fresco Rose I use alone for a sweep of color or as a base for other colors.

Also, when I am jonesing for a bit of green, I go with MAC's Greensmoke. The Revlon Wild Orchids is a creamy grouping of purples.

One of the best makeup products I ever purchased was MAC's Carbon. With MAC brush #22, I line my upper eye lids with this. It is UH-MAZING.

For eyes, I also love the following - BeneFit's BAD gal is a thick black eye pencil. Definitely BAD gal. Also, Sephora's #503 is a fun purple eye crayon and the mascara I use at the moment is Define-a-Lash. I have Falsie's ready to go when this runs out.

These are my face and eye favorites and soon, I will be posting about lipsticks and lipglosses. That is a 12-Step Program waiting to happen!

What are some of your favorites?

Oh man I WISH I had enough experience with makeup to have an opinion! Right now I'm not wearing much (if any) makeup because I'm back to school full time. What I do wear comes from the drug store- and only if it's on sale. Ugh! LOL

I love Glee from Bare Escentuals too! I have used it for a long time as well and it is favorite blush ever! When I don't feel like putting any makeup on I will just dab this on my cheeks so at least I don't look dead! :)

You're making me want to go have a make over, though in my case, it's more of a make up since I really don't wear make up.

I love Jane Iredale products. I did a mini makeover last year and I swear I looked 10 years younger. No kidding, not even a little kidding. I love the pressed mineral foundation and tinted moisturizer. I'm a little challenged when it comes to personal beauty (hair styling, makeup application) so I always have to go to the experts for help. I also love that Jane Iredale products are safe, don't contain any of the toxic junk, and being an animal lover...love that they don't test on animals...That's my 2 cents. Wish I had the artistry that you have to put it all together in a cohesive beautiful look :-)

Love Laura Geller's eye makeup. I use her brow color markers and they're wonderful. Lately though I've been buying some products at Sally's Beauty Supply and have been very pleased with the quality and colors.
