Martha Stewart Glitter Starfish for Fall

I do love my Martha Stewart Glitter!

So shiny and sparkly and yes, may I dare say sexy!

So, to add some glitter and summer lovin' to my fallscape, I glittered some starfish I picked up over the summer at The Christmas Tree Shops. They were $1.99 for 6.
At the end of last season, I picked up Martha Stewart Glitter at Michaels - all on sale. I used Brownstone Tinsel Glitter and Copper and Florentine Gold glitters.
I mixed glue with a bit of water in a dixie cup and applied to the starfish. Here is the after. Not a fan of the Tinsel Glitter. It didn't stick as well and shed a bit. And, here are my starfish in all of their fall bounty glory.

and autumn, a mosaic of them all."

Hey!
LOVE the starfish. I'm seeing a lot of glitter pumpkins, leaves, etc. for fall and I'm really liking it. Maybe I'll have to try something like this out. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog, and for your sweet comment.
Lots of love,
Laura

I love the glittery starfish! That's sooo pretty! Where is the Christmas Tree Store? I've never even heard of that until this week. I need to check for one in Arkansas.

Thanks for sharing how you put the glitter on!!! I'm preparing a post on how to glitter, so I definitely include your method. I wonder if spray glue works too.

Very cute! I love that you did something different from everyone else's pumpkins and leaves.

LOVE THEM! Thanks for showing the tutorial - I'm going to get my glitter & shells out.

I met my husband online, btw. NEVER in a million years thought I'd date online, but at the push of a dear friend, I did. Don't settle ~ whoever the guy is, he will be blessed to have you.
