Hamptons Farmstand

After our horrendous lunch at Babette's in East Hampton (which you can read about a few posts ago) and after walking off said horrendous meal, Wendy and I drove west and spotted a wonderful farmstand in Southampton (or was it Bridgehampton?).

Look at all these tomatoes!
And sunflowers. They were around $13 a bunch. I didn't buy any as my backyard is filled with them. Thank you Dad!
But what I was jonesing for were these pumpkins. So I picked up a white and a "regular" one.

Don't you just love farmstands and fall?!

As I have seen in one autumnal face."

Love white pumpkins. I have 2 faux ones in my urns on my porch. I have not been able to find the real thing in our area. ~~Sherry~~

I adore farmstands, especially in the Fall. We have a beach house in Southold, on the North Fork, where there are plenty of farmstands, and the sunflowers go for about 5 bucks a bunch.

Just cross the Peconic; it's way cheaper in wine country. :-)

PS gorgeous photos!
