Help me Pick a Man on Match.com

So, after 3 months away from Match.com, I am just now getting to the loads of emails from them and various "matches."

Blogging friends, I need your help.

Help me choose.

Which of the following men who recently contacted me should I respond to?

I am conflicted.

All three sound just sooooo amazing.

Future Husband #1 -

I am Retired, I don't do field work anymore with my fellow crew, some of them are dead now and some live very far away..,I still believe in what i have done and would like to give it a try again

Future Husband #2 -

If I was on the Bachelor, they'd have to put the show on HBO or pay per view!

Future Husband #3 -

My name is Joseph. I'm a independent man who is love to entertain, people and know how have a good time. I have good head on the shoulder and I love my job looking forward going to work every day. I;m a fun and easygoing guy love meet new people. I;m looking for some one who is honest and loving and caring. To have a mutual relationship with. I'm well organized and well groomed man like the the same: I love to travel and going to movies, beach or stay home and cuddle or cook. If you interested please drop me a line.

My heart is beating so fast. I am imagining all of the possibilities with these guys.

They all sound like they could lead me from Single Nester status to Double Nesting.

What do you think?

Leave a comment and let me know whom I should respond to.

(PS - I hope you get my sarcasm :)

How lucky are you to have these 3 fantastic men to choose from! How ever will you decide????

in all seriousness - I suddenly have a new found appreciation for my husband! I do not envy you in your quest for a "match".

Praying you find the wonderful man that you deserve!

I am so not a hairy chest kind of gal. Bleh. OH and why doesn't that third guy know how to spell??? Get a dictionary for crying out loud! LOL

I hope there were a few more gems in the mix. :)

It looks like the man with the hairy chest has something on his pants..ahahaha

Good Luck in your quest :)

i'm thinking the third guy might be foreign, and have a fun and sexy accent, no? incorrect grammar, not quite right punctuation? that's a definite possibility.

at first i had thought (and hoped) that you seriously had luck, and i worried for you when the first guy said he was retired. lol.

Damn, you are so lucky!!! LOL... what is #1 a retired mercenary?

#2 seems too hot to handle or too full of himself...lol.

And #3 well...I am big about diction and he does not seem to know how to write. Sorry, this is a big thing for me. Ahhh, the good ol' days of Match.com

I don't envy you at all. Start with phone calls! then you can tell how they REALLY talk to you!!! That's just my #1 piece of advice!

Girl....you have no idea how hard I am laughing right now!!! My advice to you is to run...run as fast as you can in the opposite direction. Bet you won't see these guys on any of the Match.com commercials ;-)

Well if No.3 could spell and No.2 really looked like that (as long as he doesn't have a hairy back), you could clone the two of them into one and you might be on to something!

Oh wow, this post totally reminds me how much I don't miss the online dating world! {Although I am attending one of my bff's weddings tonight, and it was an online match, so there is hope out there!}

I'm confused though... is #3 also looking for a well groomed man?

I'll remember this on those days when I envy my single friends. Good luck - looks like you need it! Yikes!

#3 sounds like a nice enough guy :) Good Luck with your search - stopping by from New Friend Friday!

stopping by from NFF, hmmm such a tough decision but I am sure whoever you choose will plan an unforgettable evening for you!

Clearly, you are going to have to date all three of them. Just hope they don't find out about each other. ;)

To be fair... I have a good male friend who sounds a lot like #3 when we chat online. He can't write/spell to save him, but he's actually a good guy & pretty smart-- just doesn't come across that way online.

But, still.... I think I'd wait for option #4.

Oh, I was so scared they were all going to be awful. OK, so number 3 won't win the Pulitzer prize, but he sounds nice enough and sincere, and, unlike many people, can spell "independent"!
I have to think he's worth a phone call??

No. You are too funny. It must be my lucky day to have stumbled upon your hilarity. If you like, I'd love to have you stop by my blog sometime. I can at least offer you better punctuation than #3. (God love him!)

I want you to know that I'm a jealous wreck! You have such a difficult decision here ~ :-)

What country is #3 from? It is clear that he is trying with the English language...just not there yet.

I wish you the best while I'm sitting here rolling with laughter!

Oh, Miss Single Nester... boy, did you scare me. It took me a moment to see your P.S., so I was like "Oh, Lord, don't tell me she is considering these guys?" Man, is that what's out there on Match.com?? I guess I will stay single too...
Best,
Gloria

I thought you were really looking for help till I saw the last line....sigh...I was voting for Number 1 it sounded like me!

Kathleen said...

Oh brother!
But Chef Dennis seems nice! He visits me too, so that seals the deal! I know he doesn't eat meat, and seems like a great cook!

My post may be a bit delayed but I could not resist!

I think #1 sounds depressed and very old, #3 sounds like a foreigner, or else someone who didn't spend much time in school. #2 looks delicious...no future husband, but a really, really fun night maybe :)

I actually met my husband on an online dating site. We have been blissfully happy together for almost 8 years now. Of course, we each had to meet lots of icky's before we met each other.

I wish you the best in your search. Have some fun with it!

Anna
