Well, my toes were in sneakers but they hit the sand!
Last Saturday was gorgeous; just splendid. I am blessed to live within minutes from the beach so I try to get there as often as I can, which is not often enough!
With rain coming for the next 5 days, I thought I would share some of my beach photos with you.

I'm a beach girl too ! and your pictures reminds me my oceanic hometown ! I miss it unless i live from 45 minutes for the sea!
I am so jealous my whole body aches to be at the beach, I need sun, waves, and sand.
Have a great weekend,
Cha Cha
Love your blog! I have the quote by Isak Dinesen framed on my desk!
I grew up on the beach, and your pictures make me homesick for the sand!
Lucky GIRL! I could sure use some quiet beach time. Sorry to hear about the cable guy. Good looking guys don't come along until your already in a relationship. Then they come out in droves! I still can't wait to see YOUR lamps :o)
So true about the purses. I have to control myself so much. You are making me miss the beach so much. I lived in Florida for 4 years. Thanks for stopping by for a visit.
Lovely beach shots....I am trying to remember what summer feels like! Have a wonderful weekend, xv.
Beautiful pictures - cannot wait to go to the beach, which seems a long way off with all of this rain that we have been having the last couple of days!
I love that salt water quote! And I'm the same as you, we live in a beautiful spot but definitely don't enjoy it often enough.
ahhhh... I am so jealous! Your beach is gorgeous!
So jealous! ;) Thanks for enjoying the beach for us though! Beautiful pics.
I wish I could take a walk on a beach right now. Spent the weekend at a ocean front hotel but it was so foggy and cloudy I couldn't even see the water. The sound of the surf sounded nice, though. I love your beach photos, warm weather is what I am yearning for, but I love the wintertime beach, for different reasons.
