Valentine Floral Arrangement - Three Weeks and Counting

I love flowers. I do. But, flowers can be expensive. Not so at my local ShopRite. The week I purchased the flowers for my Valentine arrangement, they were on sale 3 bunches for $10 using your clubcard. Sometimes, they are even 4 for $10.

I brought them home over THREE WEEKS AGO and they are still going strong. Love it!

I change the water every three or so days as well as clip the stems.

Using two glittery vases purchased after Christmas a few weeks ago from Michaels for about $1.50 each, I decided to rather than pack them away, use them for Valentine's Day.

I used old olive plastic containers that I had saved since I didn't know if the vases would leak. Set them in a lacquer red tray purchased two Christmas' ago from Pier One for less than $3 and arranged an assortment of red and white gems and paper roses ($1 from Christmas Tree Shops), floating candles and my little cupid man whom am hoping brings me some romance this year.

Here is how my Valentine centerpiece has looked and continues to look over 3 weeks later.

I know that they probably won't last until Valentine's Day and that I will need to purchase flowers soon. But, I am so happy to look at it every day.

Carnations are the best as they last almost forever. I had them in my wedding bouquet, the florist thought I was just cheap, but I told her they ARE my favorite flower. Like your blog!

There is a lots of kinds of color of carnations. Even black color carnation we can see. We can make special color arrangement with spcecial color carnations. This arrangement is also really gorgeours.
